The Chianti Wine half day tour is a great opportunity to get a felling of Tuscany countryside and Chianti wine production if you only have a half day available.
Chianti is the most famous wine production area in Italy and thanks to its traditions has rightfully become a synonymous of good honest red wine. Its beautiful landscapes recall the capacity of its people to blend in harmony with nature. During this Chianti half day wine tour you will admire Chianti hills between Florence and Siena. We will pass by vineyards and olive trees and stop by beautiful medieval villages. In addition, you will reach a selected local winemaker to taste their wines and learn about Chianti Classico, Chianti Riserva and the Supertuscan wines.
Being a Half Day starting time is at 2.00 pm from your hotel. As we will be leaving Florence heading south we will give you a brief introduction to Chianti history and traditions. We will drive in a countryside that is already worth the trip on its own, during that, you will start to get familiar with the history the people and the traditions that made Chianti area so unique. This Chianti wine half day private tour is customized to your eventual requests, for instance more time devoted to visiting villages or a focus on olive oil feel free to share your preferences.
