    All about the Chianti Classico Wine Tours From Florence, Tuscany.
    Your local expert driving guide will meet you directly at your accommodation, in a short while you will be heading south on “Chianti Road”. While you will learn about the history and traditions of the area, we will drive to this enchanting countryside to make a first stop in Greve in Chianti. The town’s square is surrounded by arcaded sidewalks perfect for a stroll to browse local shops and cafés.

     

    Next, with a short drive we reach the Castle of Montefioralle, this lovely village might make you wonder if it is real or a daydream. At lunch, we will reach a local winery, where you will be greeted by a guide who will introduce you to the process of winemaking, and the tradition of Chianti wine, after that a private lunch, a full meal of local food will be served in the same winery, along with that you will be introduced to Chianti, Chianti Riserva and Super Tuscan wines.

     

    After lunch, a short drive and we will reach Castellina in Chianti, the ideal place to recall the military past of Chianti, once the border between two fighting states: Florence and Siena. The drive is very scenic and will offer plenty of beautiful spots to stop for pictures. Left Castellina, a second wine tasting awaits you, we will choose a different winery to let you appreciate two different approaches to winemaking. This will be our final stop before we head back to your accommodation in Florence.
