We arrived Rome early in the morning, our driver, Mauro was waiting in the airport with out name on a placard. The drive to Sienna was pleasant, stopping in Montalcino and lunch with a wine tasting at wonderful family owned winery named Piombaia a ten minute drive outside of Montalcino. Fabulous lunch and wonderful wines! Sienna was beautiful, a good place to relax after travel from America. Luca was waiting outside our hotel at the allotted time, and drove us into Fiesole the next morning. On another day,
Luca drove four of us to Cortona from Florence, stopping along the way at the Piazza Michelangelo for photo’s. He is a wonderful man, born and raised in Florence, many great stories and history lessons along the way. I highly recommend Luca and his drivers when you visit Italy!
